Williams Inks with RC Golf
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.--On Friday, December 18th Rochester College head men's golf coach Clayton Bissett announced the signing of William Williams.
During his time at Circle Christian High School in Winter Park, FL. Williams earned six varsity letters in golf. Not only did he do well on the course, but in the classroom as well, where he was an honor student all four years.
On the golf course Williams completed an outstanding senior season in which he helped lead his team to multiple district and regional championships. His senior season included a 13th place finish at the State Tournament and also was named Athlete of the Year in his school.
After high school Williams went on to play at Southeastern University in Lakeland FL. under Coach Steve Phelps. While attending he was a key part to the winning of the Fire Invitational Championship in 2013. In 2014, Williams qualified for the 2014 Florida Armature Match Play.
Coach Bissett on William:
"I'm really excited to be able to sign a player of William's caliber. As good as he is on the golf course, he is even better off the course. He is a good student and a great person. I feel great about being able to add him to our program and school. He is exactly the kind of person that will excel in both aspects."
