Men's Bowling concludes season at ISC and ITC Sectionals
(Pittsburgh, PA) - The Rochester Christian men's bowling team competed at the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Intercollegiate Singles and Team Championships Sectionals this weekend, closing out their 2025-2026 season.
The ISC event featured six-game bowling, with the top five advancing to the ISC Championships in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The ITC event saw teams compete in bowling 64 baker games across two days, with the top four teams in each sectional advancing to the Championships in Green Bay.
RCU ISC SCORES
Mike Pupin led the Warriors in scoring for the event with a 1,163, placing 24th among the 175 bowlers at the event, while recording a high game of 249. Pupin missed the cutoff by 108 pins. Brian Henry was second on the Warriors with a total score of 1,117 pins and a 225 high game.
Clinton Harris III was the only other bowler to bowl in the individual section, with a score of 999 and a 192 high game.
RCU ITC SCORES
Throughout the 64 baker rounds at the tournament, RCU would be in 11th place at the event for the first half of the event with a total pinfall of 6,137. The first 16 games had RCU earning 3,227 pins before earning 2,900 in round 2.
