Men's Bowling closes out WHAC regular season at the Detroit Open
(Sterling Heights, MI) - The Rochester Christian men's bowling team rounded out the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) regular season at the fourth and final WHAC tournament at the 5-Star Lanes. The event featured teams bowling in three team games, before taking part in 16 baker games.
The Warriors placed sixth for the event after scoring 6,088 pins after scoring 3,110 pins in the team games and 2,978 pins in the baker games.
RCU SCORES
Nolan Matz was the top RCU bowler for the event after bowling a 657 series, with a 247 high game. Carter Harris and Clinton Harris III finished a pin apart at 634 and 633, respectively with Carter Harris earning a 229 high game and Clinton Harris III hitting a 256 high game. Mike Pupin was next up for the Warriors with a 612 pin fall and a 258 high game. Brian Henry was the final bowler for the team with a 574 game and a 201 high game.

The Warriors JV team would finish in ninth-place after scoring 5,324 pins with 2,432 pins in the team games, followed by 2,892 pins in the baker sets.

REST OF FIELD PERFORMANCES
Indiana Tech was the top team at the tournament and claimed the regular-season WHAC Championship after totaling 6,773 pins.
Nicholas Schaberg from Aquinas took the top individual spot for the tournament with a total score of 749 over his three games bowled. Schaberg hit a high game of 286.
