Men's Bowling places, 6th at the second WHAC Tournament of season
(Clinton Township, MI) - The Rochester Christian men's bowling team headed to the second Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) tournament of the season. The event featured the teams bowling in three team games followed by four baker sets.
RCU totaled 2,661 pins throughout the team games, while scoring 2,993 pins in the baker set, to total 5,654 pins. As a team the Warriors finished in 6th place.
The Warriors' team series average of 887 is the seventh-highest mark in program history for a three-game series.
RCU SCORES
The top Warrior for the event throughout the team games was Brian Henry who totaled 584 pins, scoring a high game of 231. Next up was Clinton Harris, totaling 530 pins in his three games with a 197 high game. Nolan Matz also took part in a trio of games, scoring 510 pins, with a 174 high game.
Mike Pupin took the lanes for a pair of games, scoring 388 pins with a 205 high game. Nehemiah Bachmann was next up for RCU with a 350 score in his pair of games, while recording a 186 high game.
The final two RCU bowlers were Jackson Vlassis and Alexander Miller. Vlassis totaled 152 pins, while Miller knocked down 147 pins in their sole games.

In the JV event, the Warriors finished in eighth place, scoring 4,952 total pins, with 2,404 pins coming in the team game, while 2,548 pins would come from the baker sets.

David Schaberg from Aquinas earned the top spot for the tournament with a score of 669.
Aquinas took home the top team spot for the tournament, winning by 128 pins, scoring a total of 6,123 pins throughout the tournament.
