Nolan Matz named WHAC Bowler of the Week
(Rochester Hills, MI) - The Wolverine-Hooiser Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its weekly Players of the Week for October 6-12, and Rochester Christian's Nolan Matz earned the honor for his efforts at the C300 Western Shootout.
Matz, a freshman from Rochester Hills, Michigan, placed 14th at the C300 Western Shootout over the weekend. Matz earned a pinfall of 1,310 total pins and averaged 218.33 over the six games bowled while recording a game high of 266. His score of 1,310 is the third-most in an RCU six-game series.
Matz joins Mike Pupin as RCU's representative for the WHAC's Bowler of the Week.
Matz and the Warriors will be back in action in a couple of weekends when they compete at the first and second American Heartland tournaments on October 25 and 26.
