Men's Basketball takes down Siena Heights on Wednesday, Pleasant hits 350 wins
(Rochester Hills, MI) - The Rochester Christian men's basketball team kicked off its home 2026 schedule against Siena Heights on Wednesday evening and would come away with a 78-56 victory. The Warriors outscored the Saints in both halves en route to the 22-point win. The Warriors now move to 11-4 overall on the season and 6-3 in WHAC play.
With the win, Warrior Head Coach Dr. Klint Plesant surpasses the 350-win mark in his career and now holds a 350-159 record overall.
FIRST HALF
SHU led in the game following a quick 4-0 lead, until Tymias Williams made the first two baskets for RCU, and Tyler Allen gave RCU its first lead on a jumper. The Saints scored the next nine points before Linden Holder started a 13-4 run that would tie the game back up at 19. James Fisher and Darnell Turner Jr. would combine to go 6-6 from the free-throw line to aid the 27-26 lead.
The Warriors continued to knock down their free-throw attempts, going another 7-8 down the stretch in the first half. Mason Parker added to the score total with a three-pointer, and James Fisher added a dunk to round out the first half scoring with RCU having a 41-34 advantage.
SECOND HALF
RCU opened the second half with an 11-2 run, with Tyler Allen leading the run with five points. A two-minute scoring drought was broken by Linden Holder and Darnell Turner Jr. to keep the lead at double-digits.
Tymias Williams kept the pressure on the Saints with a couple of dunks, including a fastbreak alley-oop from Mason Parker. Darnell Turner Jr. hit the final bucket of the game for the Warriors to round out the scoring.
TOP PERFORMERS
Four Warrior starters tallied double-digit points, led by Tymias Williams with 17 points, while Darnell Turner Jr. and James Fisher each had 16, and Linden Holder had 15 points. Linden Holder led the team with four assists.
Tymias Williams brought down 10 rebounds in the game to earn his seventh double-double of the season. James Fisher recorded nine rebounds in the game.
