Williams earns sixth WHAC Player of the Week honor of the season

(Rochester Hills, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its weekly Players of the Week for December 8-14, and Rochester Christian's men's basketball's Tymias Williams earned honors for the third consecutive week on the defensive end. 

Williams, a junior from New Baltimore, Michigan, led the team on the defensive end, creating five turnovers, which is a season-high. He also tied for the team lead in rebounds with seven. He also blocked a pair of shots.

Williams currently sits at the top of the conference in steals per game at 2.5, second in blocks per game at 1.8, and third in rebounds per game at 9.1.

Williams has now won a WHAC Player of the Week honor for the sixth time this season, with his five previous honors occurring back on December 8 (Offensive & Defensive), December 1 (Defensive), November 17 (Defensive), and October 27 (Offensive). 

RCU is on the road for their next matchup, traveling to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to play William Penn at the Milwaukee Bucks' Fiserv Forum on Thursday, December 18.
