Williams earns 3rd WHAC honor of the season; 2nd Defensive honor

(Rochester Hills, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its weekly Players of the Week for November 24-30, and Rochester Christian's men's basketball's Tymias Williams earned honors for his defensive efforts for the second time this season. 

Williams, a junior from New Baltimore, Michigan, picked up his fourth double-double of the season last week against Lourdes. Williams tied his season-high with eight defensive rebounds against the Grey Wolves, adding three offensive boards. In addition, Williams stole a trio of passes and blocked a pair of shots, with one of the steals converting to RCU points. 

Williams earns his third WHAC Player of the Week honor of the season, with his two previous occurring back on November 17 (Defensive) and October 27 (Offensive). 

The Warriors will be back in action on Wednesday, December 3, as they return from Thanksgiving break with a matchup against Aquinas at 7:30 PM.
