Sleeman tabbed to lead the Competitive Dance program

(Rochester Hills, MI) - Warriors Athletics is excited to announce the hiring of Alexandria Sleeman as the department's first Competitive Dance coach, with the intention to begin competition in 2026-2027. 

Sleeman currently owns Elite Dance Arts Co., where she also serves as Choreographer and Program Director. Sleeman's program has earned multiple awards, including over 150 high score awards since 2023, while also excelling at the national level.  

Sleeman had this to say about joining RCU: "I am excited to begin this new chapter, while being able to bring my dance experience and education to Rochester Christian! My goal is to inspire and empower future athletes, providing them with the confidence and support they need to flourish both as dancers and individuals."

Before opening up her company, Sleeman worked at Diamond All-Star Cheer as the Dance Program Director/Instructor. In this position, she helped lead multiple students to national recognition while working with the rest of the staff to create training experiences across numerous disciplines. 

RCU Athletic Director, Clayton Bissett, had this to say regarding Sleeman: "We are excited to have Alexandria on board. She brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the table. She also has a wealth of knowledge and great experience in the dance world. We are looking forward to seeing her start and grow this new program."
