Bio

Patti Glenn enters her sixth year as the head of Warrior Competitive Cheer. For Glenn and her team, the 2022-23 season was a great success, with the team hosting its first-ever home meet and the WHAC Conference Championship in the same season. During the WHAC Conference Championship, Glenn and her squad broke the Warriors' all-time round record, scoring 82.93. 

Glenn, who was born in Lansing, MI, graduated from Everett High School, where she was part of the cheerleading team and also a twirler for the Vikings. After graduation, Glenn continued her cheerleading career at Lansing Community College. After cheering there for two years, she transferred to Davenport University, where she did not cheer but graduated with a Bachelor's of Business Administration.

Glenn began coaching in 1995 when she became the Sexton High School Assistant Coach for the Varsity Cheerleading team.

In 1997, Glenn was named the assistant dance team coach at Life Changers Christian Center in Lansing. She continued there until 2001 before taking a 3-year break from coaching. She returned in 2004 when she became Everett High School's Junior Varsity Coach for the sideline team.

In 2006, Glenn became the Junior Varsity sideline coach at Waverly High School. During her time coaching for the high school, Glenn became the founder and director of Waverly Youth Cheer in Lansing in 2008, where she continued to improve and improve the company until 2015.

Glenn's most recent cheer coaching job before becoming a Warrior was with Notre Dame Prep in Pontiac, where she was the Assistant Varsity Cheer Coach for both the sideline and competitive teams.

Throughout her coaching career, Glenn has earned several honors. In 2009, 2013, and 2014, she was part of the Michigan All-Star Football Game Cheer Coaching Staff. In 2012 and 2014, she was awarded District Coach of the Year, and in 2016 and 2017, she was the coach of Division 3 State Champs.

Outside of coaching, Glenn has been part of the Competitive Cheer Coaches Association of Michigan since 2009 and was named President of the Association in 2015.

Glenn is currently a full-time employee with the State of Michigan as a Human Resources Manager and lives in Farmington Hills after moving to the Metro Detroit area two years ago.
