Baseball see's trio of players named to WHAC All-Conference team
(Rochester Hills, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its yearly postseason honors for baseball, and several Rochester Christian Warriors were honored on this season's teams.
SECOND TEAM | GOLD GLOVE
AIDEN ALSPAUGH | SR | GRAND LEDGE, MICHIGAN
Aiden Alspaugh is making his second straight appearance on the WHAC Second Team. Alspaugh was ranked 13th in the conference in RBIs with 41, 20th in hits with 49, 7th in walks with 32, and 26th batting average at .327. On the defensive end, Alspaugh ranked second in runners caught stealing with 17, while catching 23% of would be base stealers. Alspaugh also recorded a .972 fielding percentage.

MATTHEW REDMOND | SO | ATTICA, MICHIGAN
Matthew Redmond is appearing on a WHAC All-Conference team for the first time in his career. Redmond earned a 5-3 record this season, while having a 3.79 ERA this season, which was 7th-best in the WHAC, across 61.2 innings. Redmond was also tied for seventh in strikeouts this season with 61.
CHAMPIONS OF CHARACTER
Jeffrey Preston was recognized as the team's WHAC Champion of Character. The senior was honored for his commitment to the five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
ALL-ACADEMIC
The WHAC announced its All-Academic teams, which include sophomores and above in Academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.25. The six Warriors honored were Aiden Alspaugh, Beau Falkenhagen, Cael Kuzinski, Niko Lahr, Jake Nuttall, and Joey Wagner.
