Men's Hockey's Mullins earns WHAC Defensive Player of the Week

(Rochester Hills, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its weekly Player of the Week for Hockey, and Rochester Christian's Jake Mullins earned WHAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts against Western Michigan on Saturday. 

Mullins, a sophomore from Clawson, Michigan, a defender, recorded a season-high five assists in the game against Western Michigan on Saturday. Mullins was a part of five of the six RCU goals throughout the game. 

Mullins and the Warriors will be back on the ice this weekend when they have a home-and-home series with UM-Flint. The Warriors will travel to UM-Flint on Friday, October 3, and host them on Saturday, October 4.
