The Warriors played the Wolverines evenly to start play on Friday night, actually getting the first goal early in the contest on the power play. The Wolverines would respond with a goal of their own, and the first intermission saw the teams tied at one. The next two periods were owned by the Wolverines, though, scoring five in the second and seven in the third. The Wolverines would get on of their own in each period, but it did not matter much. The Warriors lost 13-3.
Saturday afternoon saw an even more overpowering performance by the WHAC powerhouse. The Wolverines tabbed nine goals before the Warriors found the back of the net in the second. The Wolverines continued to pour it on with eight more goals the rest of the way and took the game with a score of 17-1.
